A University of Delaware College of Health Sciences course gives students the opportunity to learn about the healthcare system and community-based care. As part of their coursework, students visit clients of Lori’s Hands, a non-profit that helps people with chronic illness. Helen Lewandowski has a positive outlook on life despite having lost her vision. She asks her Lori’s Hands volunteers to bring new stories to share during each visit.
