The Delaware INBRE program aims to increase opportunities for biomedical research in the state. Thanks to funding provided by the National Institutes of Health, Delaware INBRE is helping early-career investigators by providing funds for pilot projects that are focused on solving health challenges and improving the lives of people in the state living with chronic health issues. One such project includes KAAP faculty Jeremy Crenshaw, who is working with Curtis Johnson, an assistant professor in biomedical engineering, to reduce falls and increase physical activity for children with cerebral palsy. Check out this report from Delaware Public Media to learn more about their collaboration.
